ABOUT SWARADA DHEKANE

  Swarada Dhekane M.A BHARATANATYAM, M.A INDOLOGY Swarada is a Bharatanatyam dancer, Dance Blogger, Writer, Teacher and Founder-Director of SPARC- Swarada Performing Arts & Research Centre, Pune. She started learning Bharatanatyam from Guru Dr. Swati Daithankar and completed B.A in Bharatanatyam under her guidance. She completed her Masters under Guru Dr. Parimal Phadke from Lalit Kala Kendra, SPPU, Pune. She completed her Masters in Indology from Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, Pune. She is working as a Dance Blogger since 5 years, Samvaad & Saahityam are her famous Blogs, they explore various topics on Performing Arts and Indian History. She translated a book ‘Bunch of Javalis’ written by a famous Dance Scholar Dr. Pappu Venugopala Rao. She translated his book in Marathi and published in 2018.   SPARC - Swarada Performing Arts & Research Centre is a Pune based Institute of Dance as well as an academic place of Indian culture, founded by Swarada Dhekane in January, 2019.  We organize so many different and unique activities ad events related to dance and Indian culture, such as - Bharatanatyam Dance classes (Online/Offline), Dance workshops by well known Gurus and artists, Indian Culture Workshops, Competitions, Lecture Series & Dance Festivals.
